Industry Leaders from ASPAC Gather at Algebra Bio’s New Sydney Office on Cockatoo Island for High-Level Industry Forum

Algebra Bio hosted a prestigious industry forum at its new office on Cockatoo IslandSydney, bringing together distinguished leaders, experts, and stakeholders from across the Asia-Pacific (ASPAC) region. The event served as a high-value platform for in-depth dialogue and knowledge exchange, focusing on critical topics that are shaping the future of the livestock, poultry, and animal nutrition sectors.



Designed to foster cross-regional collaboration and drive industry advancement, the forum featured insightful presentations from renowned experts, who delved into topical issues with practical perspectives. Rhea Figarola, Animal Nutritionist, shared professional insights on diet manipulation strategies for stressed pullets and layers, offering actionable solutions to address nutritional challenges in poultry rearing. This was also a key focus topic at the Australian Poultry Science Symposium (APSS). Dr Thinh, Country Manager (Vietnam) of Algebra Bio, analyzed the key challenges facing Vietnam’s livestock industry, shedding light on regional market dynamics and potential pathways for sustainable development. Dr Dey, Managing Director of IMMEUREKA (India), provided valuable perspectives on the rapidly developing India market, exploring emerging opportunities and trends that are reshaping the industry landscape in the region. Additionally, Dr Lee, Business Development Director of Algebra Bio, examined the hidden threats and far-reaching impacts of pesticide residues, highlighting the importance of risk mitigation and regulatory compliance for industry sustainability.

 

Prior to the forum discussions, attendees were invited to tour Algebra Bio’s new facility on Cockatoo Island, gaining first-hand insights into the company’s operational capabilities, strategic layout, and long-term commitment to serving the ASPAC market from its strategic Australian base. The tour offered a unique opportunity for industry leaders to engage with Algebra Bio’s team and understand the company’s vision for driving innovation in the sector.

 

In addition to the office tour, the event itinerary also included visits to two modern dairy farms located in Sydney, where the team engaged in in-depth discussions with Prof Ian Lean about dairy industry development, technical innovation, and nutritional optimization.

 

As the host, Algebra Bio emphasized the significance of such cross-regional gatherings in strengthening industry connections, exchanging best practices, and collectively exploring pathways to advance innovation, sustainability, and high-quality growth across the ASPAC livestock and poultry industries.
