Algebra Bio – Knowledge Sharing at VIV Asia
Australia based Algebra Bio have been delighted to bring together business leaders from across Asia Region to attend its Poultry Performance Insights Seminar in Bangkok.
In this event, held pre-VIV Asia two leading poultry industry knowledge leaders shared their thoughts and visions on the ASPAC poultry sector and the challenges that it faces.
Associate Professor , Dr. Theerawit Poeikhampha who is based at Kasetsart University brings a modern perspective on the opportunities from his multi-disciplinary strategy to research and the development of optimised in animal nutrition technology. Headlines within his talk included comparisons of the global economics of poultry production and a look forward at where in Asia the greatest development might be expected. The role of Thailand as Asia’s major exporter described and useful pointers on implications for future quality requirements for the Region’s Poultry producers presented.
Dr. Sushil Kumar is a thought leader in the broiler breeder industry, working across private breeding companies and major corporations like Venkys India Ltd. and CPF India he is brings renewed energy and ideas to the rapidly developing broiler breeder sector in India and the wider Asia Region. His focus was to present and discuss the practicalities of maximising the productivity of poultry breeder flocks and included some interesting case studies from his work in the Asian sub-continent.
The event was Chaired by Dr Lee Hock Hee, Commercial Development Director of Algebra Bio, who was delighted to host over 50 invited guests and business partners from 7 of the major poultry producing nations across the ASPAC Region commented that he was delighted with the level of engagement in the seminar. Another objective for the event was to facilitate some evening networking for the business leaders in the lead up to VIV.
